Encryption: Introduction

Have you ever wanted to send a message that only your friends could read? Want to keep a teacher from reading your note in class? Taking a message and make it so only people who know how can read it is called encryption.

When we encrypt a message, we make it hard to read. When we decrypt a message, we change it back into a form we can read.

  • Change each letter into a number.
